Improving an ordering system for automotive products and services

A large Saudi Arabian car company. Our client's goal was to redesign and develop a web application to overcome various limitations in displaying car parts, products and services in an existing system. In addition, we expanded the front end of the system to include both web and mobile applications.

TECHNOLOGY CHOICE

The tools used were React JS, Node JS, Express JS and the Mongo DB database. Mobile application development with React Native. We integrate various payment gateways such as STC Pay, Hyperpay and MADA.

THE CHALLENGE

Only one category in their system, limited to oil changes
Products were hard-coded
No mobile application was available to consumers
The existing website did not have sufficient functionality for enhanced features
Customizations and add-ons were impractical within their existing website infrastructure
Their existing system did not facilitate payments.

SOLUTION IMPLEMENTATION

Digital Dividend developed a scalable and flexible architecture. We designed and developed a web application and admin panel through which the customer can add different categories to present services, parts and products. We also designed and developed a mobile application to present the same content. Customers can now book appointments and pay for these services online.
